  2. Read the monthly overview

    CAS · DashboardSample data
The sample records USD 3,000 in income and USD 2,700 in expenses: the monthly difference is USD 300.

Review recorded income, expenses and commitments. Weekly activity and the calendar help show when they occur.

  3. Look into what changed

    CAS · DashboardSample data
Records of USD 3,000, −1,500 and −1,200 explain the USD 300 difference for the period.

Open the transactions, balances or payments behind a figure before treating it as a complete picture of your finances.

Monthly cash flow and account balance tell different stories

Income minus expenses describes the flow during a period. An account balance also depends on its starting balance and other recorded activity.

Missing expenses, income or commitment dates can leave the overview incomplete. CAS reflects what you record; it does not read your bank balance in real time.

Questions about Dashboard

What if I have not recorded all my expenses?

The Dashboard shows recorded activity. Add or correct missing transactions to make the monthly overview more complete.

Can I review a different month?

Yes. Change the month and check the selected currency to read the figures for that period.

Is this the same as a budget?

No. The Dashboard summarizes activity. Budgeting lets you set category limits and compare those limits with recorded spending.
